Do you think, I should convert to Christianity for the sake of my marriage?

My boyfriend insists that I should covert to Christian. But deep inside I really don't want to. I am an free thinker but the rest of m family member is a Buddhist. I'm actually more into Buddhist than christian But I am really scared that I might lose my marriage because of this. What should I do? Thanks.
