Is saying "Oh My God" bad in school?

So my teacher said to me harshly "Hey Sally! Watch your words!!" She is a Christian and I'm not I'm Buddhist? I personally think I did nothing wrong, at first I was sorta confused when she sad that. So am I wrong?
