What are some powers I can make for my characters that they use for the sake of others?

I am making this girl character who meditates for 10 days without food and water and before she knows she gets transported somehow to Nepal or Tibet .Still unsure about the location. Where she wakes up lying in a forest/jungle and there she looks and finds a young monk she befriends..And she goes to the monastry and meets the master and recognizes her as the reincarnation or half reincarnation or something:? With her friend who is also the other reincarnation. But through them they set out on a journey for her to learn to prepare her for their final great destiny. I am not sure what their powers should be but I wanted them to be able to be the only ones who can seal away a dark demon whose seal breaks every 90-100 years.Or something interesting.!or if possible any Tibetan or Buddhist myths . I wanted it to be something similar to Wendy Wu:Homecomming Warrior.
