What du u learn in a mechanical engineer degree?

I'm thinking of doing a mech engineering degree, buh Dnt know what u learn in the course. My alevels courses r maths, further maths, physics, and computing (dropping in A2). Ma predicted AS grades r A, B, B, C, sme order as subjects. Any goof uni recommendations would be helpful too. Thx
