Why do people in the u.s put up with muslims coming in and setting up their mosques?

if you were to go to saudi arabia you wouldn't be allowed to build a buddhist temple, a jain temple, sikh temple, hindu temple, sinagogue or church, etc. Not to mention the U.S is the #1 target for most muslims. Why not do something about this?
