German Shepherd Question?

I have been wanting a german shepherd for a while now and now is the time for me to get her. I have her already inrolled for obedience classes ,and have all of her stuff ready I only have one question is their such thing as a short hair german shepherd becuase I saw this german shepherd and fell inlove with them this german shepherd is the dog that made me want a start researching german shepherds ,I can provide the exersize and vet care as i already have a border collie. Ok the reason I ask this question is becuase every GSD I have seen in person have long hair ecspecally around their neck ,should I contact sme breeders and ask if they have any that come out with shorter hair. Please be nice as this will be my first GSD and my 5th big dog 4 being Pits and the other being my BC.
