Where do I stand with this girl?

I met up with a very old friend earlier this year (by that I mean we hadn't spoken since we were 6-7) as her family came over to ours for dinner. We hit off really well and we flirted and I told her the next day that I was interested in going out with her. We went out for one date and it was average, she was VERY nervous and I could tell. Anyway I bought her a valentines day gift and she loved it and she said she really liked me. Since however, we have hardly seen each other in person, she txts me and expects an instant response but when i do I might not here for days. She is too busy to ever spend time with me in person, this has been at least 2 months now. Where do I stand, i asked her to the ball and she said yes but I don't know if she actually still like sme or what shes thinking. If we wern't going tot he ball, I would have given up on her? Any ideas about whats going through her mind???
